FASTag is an Electronic Toll Collection system introduced by NHAI(National Highway Authority of India). It operates on RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) Technology to make toll payments from your bank account. This FASTag is advised to affix on the middle-top portion of the windshield so that the toll plaza can scan your FASTag and deduct the required charges from your bank balance. The government of India has offered a 2.5% discount on payment through the FASTag sensor, to encourage the use of FASTag among car owners in India. Nitin Gadkari
Minister of Road Transport and Highway announced that all the public and private vehicles are required to install FASTag cards by 15th January 2020.
If a FASTag card is linked with your bank account then there is no need for a recharge, but make sure your bank balance is sufficient enough to meet the minimum toll fee. In case you have linked it with your E-Wallet you have to recharge it at least to reach your minimum fee requirement. Our JUSTFORPAY services offer you to make recharges on your E-Wallet without any complication.
